Welcome to West Bay

It's a great place for a day trip, however. Head to the far southern end of the kilometer-long beach, close to the volcanic rocks, to claim a slice of dreamy beach and enjoy spectacular snorkeling. You can also pay a fee (usually around L300 per person) to use the facilities – many resorts will credit the fee towards drinks or food at their bar/restaurants.

Time your visit carefully, however: when a cruise ship moors up to 5000 people can be disgorged on poor old West Bay, and sunbeds that normally go for L100 will get jacked up to L500.
