Day 1: Arrival in LhasaYour guide greets you at the airport and transfer you to your comfortable hotel. You will then rest for acclimatization or walk around to get a first glimpse of the city on your own. Day 2: Lhasa (B)We start the tour by visiting two great monasteries in Lhasa: Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. You will admire the fine collection of Tibetan art and architecture on display at Drepung Monastery, and observe the famous monk philosophy debate at Sera Monastery (every afternoon except on Sunday).Day 3: Lhasa (B)We start day with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site: Potala Palace, Dalai Lama’s winter palace. We will cross Kamba-la Pass at 4730m and glance at the holy lake Yamdrok below. Shortly after, we will visit Karola Glacier steps off the main road and then continue the scenic drive towards Gyantse. We will visit Gyantse Kumbum, a magnificent stupa inside Pelkor Chode Monastery. We arrive in Shigatse at the end of the day and rest well for next day’s activities.Day 5: Shigatse – Everest Base Camp (B)We leave Shigatse after breakfast and enter the great Himalayan range. We pass Gyatso-la Pass at 5248m and soon will have the opportunity to have the first glimpse of the Himalayas. We finally arrive at the base camp in the afternoon, and start a light trek to reach the food of Mt. Everest. We will watch the sun set behind Mt. Everest and then return to local guesthouse to stay there overnight.Day 6: Everest Base Camp – Shigatse (B)After more time taking in stunning views of the Everest, we head our way back to Shigatse.Day 7: Shigatse – Lhasa (B)We visit the magnificent Tashilhunpo Monastery in the morning, the seat of Panchen Lama. We then return to Lhasa via a different route and enjoy the nomadic landscape on the way. Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa When you arrive in Lhasa either by train or flight, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel. Learn about the lives of Tibetan monks there.The afternoon is spent touring Sera Monastery. You have a little hike for the beautiful valley scenery nearby and picnic there. Visiting Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary. As rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, it is also called “the court of wild rose”. Today still 200 lamas live in there. Buddhist debates often occur there. Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa                           You will board a scenic flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu. Enjoying the views of Nepal and Tibet Himalayas, you arrive in Gonggar Airport in Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Our local representative will receive you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa. Day 2: Lhasa Tour-Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street       This day, you will be visiting Potala Palace, which is also known as the winter residence of the Dalai Lama. This palace is the most recognized and visited landmark in Lhasa. Then, you head to Jokhang Temple, which was founded by the 33rd great King of Tibet, and is home to a large statue of Buddha Sakyamuni. Surrounding the temple is Barkhor Street where you can circumambulate Jokhang Temple whilst exploring the old market. Day 3: Lhasa Tour- Norbulingka Palace, Tibet Museum and Sera Monastery   Today, you will visit Norbulingka palace, which served as a summer residence for the successive Dalai Lamas. It is also listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then, you visit Tibet Museum, which has collections of the cultural history of Tibet. From there on, you head on to Sera Monastery where you will be able to view three sand Mandalas and a colorful rock painting of Buddha. Day 4: Lhasa Tour- Ganden Monastery and Hike Around                               The day is dedicated to exploring Ganden Monastery and its outskirts. The picturesque Ganden Monastery is one of the great three Gelug university monasteries of Tibet and comprises of 50 halls allocated for different purposes. Ganden Monastery sits on a hill with a shape of reclining elephant and faces east towards the bare and giant Tibetan hills. You will hike around the area before calling it a day. Day 5: Departure from Lhasa                                            After exploring the monasteries depicting Tibetan Buddhism, we head back to Kathmandu. The flight to Kathmandu pleases you with a great view of Lhasa and the Tibetan highlands. 7-Night Lhasa to Everest Base Camp Classic Tour

Day 3: Lhasa City (B)Today, you are going to visit Sera monastery and Drepung monastery, which are two of the “three greet” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, together with Tashilunpo Monastery. Stay in Lhasa 4-star hotel or 3-star hotel (Option). Day 4: Lhasa-Shigatse (B)Tourist will visit from Lhasa to Gyantse. On the way, the group will pass over the Gampala pass (4790m), and will get a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso (4400m). The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains. Tourists will stop around the roadside and explore Korola Glacier (5030m). The texture and the tip of Korola Glacier can be clearly seen. The tour moves on to Gyantse where you will visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum. After 1.5 hours, you will arrive in Shigatse. Stay in Shigatse 4-star hotel or 3-star hotel (Option). Day 5: Everest Base Camp (B)You'll leave Shigatse after getting your Alien’s Travel Permit, and then drive to Lhatse where you can take lunch. After that, you will drive to Shegar and if the weather is clear enough, you can view the Mt. Everest in the distance on the way back down. You'll pass Gawula Pass(5050m), one of the highest passes in Tibet. From that pass, you can view all of the five highest peaks in the world. After 4 to 6 hours, you will arrive at Rongbuk monastery. Stay in EBC Guestroom tent.Day 6: Everest Base Camp Return to ShigatseIn the morning, you can see the sunrise appear on the top of Mt Everest, and have a full view of the magnificent Mount which stands like a snow-capped pyramid in front of you at Rongpuk, the vantage point for watching Mt. Everest. Then drive back to Shigatse. Stay in Shigatse 4-star hotel or 3-star hotel (Option). Day 7: Shigatse to Lhasa (B)You will start your day by heading to the Tashilunpo Monastery, which is the seat of Tibet's second highest incarnation, the Panchen Lama. Afterwards, you will be driven 175 miles (280km) back to Lhasa by following Yalong Valley through Friendship Highway. It takes about 6 hours. Stay in Lhasa 4-star hotel or 3-star hotel (Option).
