Qatar’s national airline has changed its controversial employment policy, which meant women who got married or became pregnant within the first five years of employment would be sacked.
Under new regulations, pregnant women at Qatar Airways will be given temporary jobs on the ground. other strict rules, including one that women staff can only be picked up from work by a father, husband or brother are reportedly staying in place. Read more: theguardian.com
