If you're looking for a different sort of creature comfort from your next hotel stay, one that extends beyond the usual offerings of slippers and complementary toiletries, then you may want to check out this London hotel's newest employee: a Siberian cat.

Even if you aren't a fan of cats (gasp!) you'll probably find it hard to resist the charms of Lilibet the Cat, the Lanesborough Hotel's resident pet. The tiny kitten joined the five-star hotel in June where she divides her time between hanging out in the hotel lobby observing guests, chasing miniature mouse toys, taking naps and getting rubs from a dedicated team of hotel staff, otherwise known as the Cat Committee, who are tasked with taking care of her wellbeing.

According to the hotel, Lilibet is a Siberian Forest cat who's extremely fluffy but also hypoallergenic, an ideal breed for guests with cat allergies. Named after Queen Elizabeth II, who is affectionately known as Lilibet to friends and family, Lilibet the cat is apparently fun-loving, energetic and, judging from the hotel's Instagram account, pretty active on social media. We like to imagine that she eats better than us, dining on leftovers from the hotel's Michelin-starred Celeste restaurant.

She's not the only resident feline in a fancy hotel. Other feline ambassadors living the high-society life include the Burmese cat Fa-Raon at Le Bristol Paris and Kléopatre from Brenners Park-Hotel and Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany.
