After years living abroad, Loredana Lo Verde returned to her native Palermo, opening this little studio-gallery in La Kalsa. Inspired by Sicilian icons, from saints and pupi (marionettes) to prickly pears, the talented artist creates beautiful, affordable illustrations and watercolours, as well as oil and acrylic paintings. Items range from small cards to larger pieces and even wood-framed lamps with hand-painted cotton-linen panels.

Also worth checking out is Loredana's tiny installation gallery, a short walk away.
