Huka Falls Chocolate

Taupo

On site at Shooters Golf Range, this hidden gem roasts coffee, sells Belgian hot chocolate and makes truffles using Barry Callebaut chocolate and local NZ ingredients. Family operated, Paul is a chocolatier, but wife Jane is a chef and makes the cakes. If you ask nicely, little chocolate lovers can see the 50-plus-year old burnt-orange chocolate machine from France.
