Although you’re in the mountains, you can be certain that the fish is fresh at this family-run taverna, where you can see trout splashing in large tanks before they end up on your dinner plate. Note: it's the second ‘Taverna Votomos’ as you follow signs to the lake, not the first taverna next to Idi hotel.
It's run by friendly Giorgos, whose father, Yannis, was the first to introduce trout and trout farms to the area.
