A kilometre from the town of Sinazongwe, Lakeview Lodge has comfortable chalets with ceiling fans and a secluded terrace overlooking the lake and verdant grounds. There's also a campsite to pitch a tent, as well as a pool, small beach area and a braai, making it a good spot to chill out for a few days.
Given there's no ablutions, note that camping is only an option if the rooms aren't booked out; call ahead to check. Meals start from ZMW50 and you can hire a boat to Chikanka (ZMW950) or Chete Island (ZMW1550).
