This basic wooden 'forest hostel' or large hut is divided into four dorms with sleeping platforms and mats, a kitchen (with gas for cooking and boiled water for drinking) and bathrooms with showers. Space is limited to 50 people; reserve at the park office. Most people find it's warm enough here without a sleeping bag (a sarong will do).
If you're doing the Pinnacles or Headhunters' Trail treks you'll spend a night at camp 5 whether you book through the park or a tour operator; the tariff will already be included in your fee.
