Riviera Las Vegas hotel's neon sign lives on

The recently closed Riviera Hotel and Casino is getting new life at places around Las Vegas.

The casino’s neon signage are already on display at the Neon Museum downtown, including an illuminated sign from the resort’s porte cochere and another from the parking garage. The iconic bronze statue of showgirls’ derrieres has been moved to Planet Hollywood to accompany the ‘Crazy Girls’ burlesque show. Public safety agencies including the FBI have used the former site of the hotel and casino to stage training exercises. Read more: lasvegassun.com
