Welcome to Pulau Sulug
Shaped like a cartoon speech bubble, 8-hectare Pulau Sulug is the least visited of the Tunku Abdul Rahman island group, probably because it's the furthest from KK. It only has one beach, on a spit of land extending from its eastern shore, and calm, clear waters for snorkelling. If you want a quiet getaway, Sulug is a decent choice, but you'll have to charter a boat to get here (at least RM250) as the regular boats don't stop at the island. Coming here with a diving outfit is fantastic, as Sulug's two main diving sites attract exciting pelagic life, such as turtles, barracuda and octopus.
