Welcome to Pulau Sapi
The tiny sibling to Pulau Gaya, separated by a 200m channel, attracts huge loads of day trippers to its lovely beach and can get overwhelmed on weekends. There are lifeguards keeping vigil on the beach, and clearly defined areas for swimming. The deep turquoise waters between Pulau Sapi and Pulau Gaya, where the reef drops off, hides decent amounts of sea life and makes for good snorkelling. Other fun things to do include spotting monitor lizards (corralled behind a fenced area next to the main entrance) and flying between Pulau Sapi and Gaya on a zip line.
