Welcome to Pulau Mamutik
Mamutik is the smallest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, a mere 300m end to end. A sandy 200m beach runs up and down the east coast, but beware of razor-sharp coral beneath the water that can cut your feet. Visibility can sometimes be poor due to strong waves, but on a still day the snorkelling is OK. There's a nice, short walking trail that ends on a cliff overlooking the water. Better still, Pulau Mamutik picks up a small portion of the day-tripper footfall, so if you're here during the week, it will be mercifully quiet.
