Works on a massive monument of Jesus Christ are coming to a close just outside Bucaramanga, Colombia. Standing at 141 feet tall, the statue is set to surpass the famous Cristo Redentor monument in Rio de Janeiro as the tallest statue of Christ in the Americas. The $20 million gigantic sculpture has stirred controversy amongst residents and the powers that be - locals have sued the state government for not respecting the separation of church and state.
