Lotte Glob Ceramic Studio

Top choice in North & West Coast

Amid the harsh beauty of the coastline, it's quite a surprise to come across this beautifully designed modern 'sculpture croft', where the resident artist takes inspiration from the sea and landscapes. Her pieces (particularly the fabulous glazed ceramics) and attitude are inspirational; take a walk around the wonderful house and studio and down to the waterside, encountering artfully placed pieces along the way.

While there are sometimes scheduled summer visiting hours, it's usually open only by appointment. You'll find Lotte's croft 9 miles east of Durness.
