Paradise Cove Resort

Yasawa Group

This dazzling resort opened in 2013, and has been attracting hordes of families and cashed-up couples ever since. Beautifully built bures, villas and suites (with plunge pools and hanging daybeds) come in a variety of configurations; all have outdoor showers, private verandahs and gorgeous interiors. There's a great kids club and family activities; the adults-only side of the resort is private and peaceful.

Luxury one- and two-bedroom beach houses offer exclusive seclusion; they're just a quick zip across the channel from the resort.

There's a compulsory meal plan (adult/child $147/81 per day; kids under four eat free); the Black Rock Restaurant is exceedingly good.
