Can this personality assessment quiz determine your travel style?

Taking a Myers-Briggs personality assessment can provide insight into how you make decisions or even what kind of job you might be suited for, but what if you could take a similar test to find out more about how you should travel? Cruise line Royal Caribbean International has teamed up with personality researcher  CPP-The Myers-Briggs Company to create a personality assessment quiz that will help you discover what type of traveller you are.

Anyone seeking a bit of insight into their travel style can take the test at MyAdventurePersonality.com until the end of March, and hopefully learn what kind of adventure will spark their wanderlust. The tool is designed to help adventurers plan fulfilling vacations and think about what type of travel companions they are looking for.

The 13-question quiz draws on CPP-The Myers-Briggs Company’s knowledge of personality types to find the motivations and needs that most affect people’s travel preferences. When a user completes the test, they are given a description of who they are as a traveller – and some thoughts on where they should go on vacation. Travellers might find out that they are a “laidback wanderer” who likes to go with the flow without much of a plan, or a “social seeker” who is ready to make friends and pack in as much adventure as possible.

“Vacations are one of the few times in life we’re truly allowed to focus on ourselves, so the more we know about our own personality type, the more relaxing and fun we can make them,” said Jeff Hayes, CEO of CPP-The Myers-Briggs Company, in a statement. “Our research team and Royal Caribbean’s travel experts put their heads together and created a way to quickly map our personality preferences to travel planning, so that people can plan trips that will leave them recharged and rejuvenated.”
