We all know that flying can have a dehydrating effect on the skin, but first class passengers with Emirates won’t have that problem. The airline is including moisturising pyjamas as part of their overnight passengers’ first class kits, which sounds like the height of luxury.
The pyjamas use hydra active microcapsule technology to keep passengers’ skin soft and hydrated. The fabric releases naturally nutrient-rich sea kelp as the wearers move around, keeping the skin from drying out and stimulating circulation. The kelp is normally found in the Antarctic Ocean, which is known to be rich in nutrients that hydrate skin while retaining moisture.
The moisturising pyjamas come with matching slippers and an eye mask and all can be taken home. The microcapsule technology locks in the moisturiser so they can be washed and worn again.
Passengers are also given amenity bags by luxury Italian brand Bvlgari to use in the onboard showers. They include signature Bvlgari fragrances and lotions, along with pampering essentials.
For added comfort, first-class passengers are being given a new range of luxury spa products from award-winning Irish brand Voya. They can also choose to wrap themselves up in soft sheepskin-like blankets provided by the airline for the exclusive use of first-class passengers.
All you have to do to avail of this luxury is turn left when you board the plane!
