No need to book a holiday - this mansion in Texas comes with its own backyard water park

As the saying goes, everything is bigger in Texas, and this Dallas mansion is no exception.

On the market for over $32 million, the 21,000-square-foot property comes with enough features and amenities to dazzle any buyer, including a backyard water park.

Opulent touches like marble columns, mosaic-vaulted ceilings, a bathroom fireplace and striking chandeliers occupy every corner of the palatial French-style home.

Besides the eight bedrooms and 17.5 bathrooms — two in the master bedroom suite alone — the space holds game rooms, a bowling alley, an indoor basketball court, a DJ area, a padded gymnastics room, a wine cellar and at least one master closet larger than most Manhattan apartments. There’s also a ten-car garage and bonus golf cart garage.

But as Curbed points out, “this is truly the mullet of mansions: business in the front (more or less), and definitely 100% party in the back.”

In the property’s backyard, find the stuff of childhood (and honestly, most adult’s) dreams. There’s an actual water park, with several waterslides, a splash area and a lazy river. For those not up for a dip, more outdoor fun can be had with an in-ground trampoline, a tennis court, a basketball court, cabanas and an outdoor fireplace.

One downside of a home like this? Getting away on a holiday seem completely unnecessary.
