The V & A has the finest collection of decorative art and design ever assembled and galleries are being redeveloped and reinvented all the time. Visitors are particularly drawn to the fashion displays and the Islamic and Asian galleries with their carpets, ceramics, and ornate arms and armour.

    so much to see

    The ceramics and fabrics are awesome, there's a whole Frank Lloyd Wright room (ie, an office and all its contents), but the highlight for me is the hall full of plaster copies of famous statues and bits of architecture including a very convincing real-size copy of Michelangelo's David.
