Lycian Way information
Acclaimed as one of the world's top-10 long-distance walks, the Lycian Way follows signposted paths around the Teke Peninsula to Antalya. The 500km route leads through pine and cedar forests beneath mountains rising almost 3000m, past villages, stunning coastal views and an embarrassment of ruins at Lycian cities. Walk it in sections (unless you have plenty of time and stamina).
Fethiye is at the western end of the trail, which leads south from nearby Ovacık to Faralya and Butterfly Valley.
