No Frills Ephesus Tours information
Noticing how carpet-selling tactics and underhand practices were irritating time-poor independent travellers, Mehmet Esenkaya and his Australian wife Christine launched these small-group tours. Other tours may be cheaper, but this is often because their prices are being subsidised by expected commission on carpet-shop sales after the tour, which can translate into pressure on tourists to buy, as well as wasted time.
Tours include transport, entrance and parking fees, and are led by entertaining and well-informed guides – without any side trips to tacky souvenir shops. Both tours visit the Temple of Artemis, Ephesus and Basilica of St John, with Mary's House also included in the the full-day tour. The Terraced Houses and Şirince village can be added on (€10 each).
