Some parts of the city aren't particularly safe late at night, especially Sergels Torg, Medborgarplatsen (in Södermalm) and Fridhemsplan (on Kungsholmen) when the bars empty around 1am. Visitors should steer clear of night buses at weekends and opt for a taxi instead.

Södersjukhuset (616 10 00; Ringvägen 52) The most convenient hospital from the city centre.
