Bovec Kanin Ski Centre
Bovec Kanin Ski Centre information
Lonely Planet review
Bovec Kanin Ski Centre northwest of Bovec has skiing up to 2300m – the only real altitude alpine skiing in Slovenia, with good spring skiing in April and even May. The 17km of pistes and 15km of cross-country runs (served by three chairlifts and three T-bars) is reached by a cable car in three stages. The bottom station is 600m southwest of the centre of Bovec on the main road. The ski centre links up with the Sella Nevea ski centre on the other side of Kanin in Italy, adding up to 30km in total. There’s an information centre in central Bovec.
