Air
International flights arrive at and depart from Aeropuerto Internacional de Luis Muñoz Marin (LMM), which is about 8 miles east of the old city center.
Several airlines provide services between San Juan and the other parts of the commonwealth, though Puerto Rico’s domestic air network is limited. Private aircraft, charter services and the bulk of the commuter flights serving the islands of Culebra and Vieques arrive at and depart from San Juan’s original Aeropuerto de Isla Grande, on the Bahía de San Juan in the city’s Miramar district.
