Queenstown's iconic Fergburger has now become a tourist attraction in itself, forcing a few locals to look elswhere for their regular gourmet burger fix. Ferg's was the innovative original in town though, and international travellers of all ages still crowd in for their burger fix. Queue nicely please.

Tucked into a hidden corner of Cow Lane, this is a classic QT eatery. Housed in a former cow shed (hence the name of the restaurant and the street), the Cow hasn’t changed its menu since 1976 – and is damn proud of it.
