Wildlife observation and conservation are the focus of these ecotours, led by marine ecologist Oscar Guzón. Most popular are his Humpback Whale Research Adventure (adult/child US$87/55, December to March) and Wild Dolphin Adventure (per person adult/child US$70/45, year-round) tours, which offer excellent opportunities to observe marine mammals up close.

Other options include an excursion to Las Labradas (adult/child US$70/35), site of the only beachside petroglyphs in the Americas, and custom bird-watching tours to Santa María Bay, Isla Isabel National Park and the Chara Pinta Tufted Jay Preserve.
