Travel Tips

I recently spent a weekend in Luxembourg and took advantage of a sort of passport called the "Luxembourg Card" which gives you free entry into 32 attractions, a 30% discount off another four attractions, and free use of all trains and buses on the national public transport network within Luxembourg (country). The total value of visits to all of the attractions is 3600LUF, so you end up saving quite a lot of money.

You can get a 1, 2 or 3 day card, which costs 300, 500 and 700 LUF respectively. These are available at Tourist Information Centres. When I was there I got the 2 day card, visited 6 attractions and used public transport to get from Luxembourg city to Vianden and back and saved about 440 LUF by using the card. It is well worthwhile.
