Tokyo Disney Resort
Pop quiz: what's the most visited sight in Japan? Kyoto's temples? Nope. Harajuku? Not quite. Ten points go to the person who guessed Tokyo Disney. As tragic (or as telling) as it may be, Tokyo Disney is a smashing success, offering visitors two theme parks – Tokyo Disney, modelled after the California original, and Tokyo DisneySea, a clever add-on that caters more to adults. Invest in a Fast Pass to cut down on time lost waiting in lines; it's also worth packing a bentō, as on-site restaurants are almost always overrun with diners.

Tokyo Cruise
Tokyo Cruise offers reasonably priced rides aboard the suijō bus (water bus) under the 12 bridges up and down the Sumida-gawa and across Tokyo Bay to Odaiba. Its main ports are Hinode Pier near Hamamatsuchō station on the JR Yamanote Line, the former feudal garden Hama Rikyū, Azumabashi Pier near Asakusa and Odaiba. Most fares are under ¥800 but are highest between Asakusa and Odaiba; the boat, Himiko, connects Asakusa and Odaiba nonstop for ¥1520. Tokyo Tomin Golf Course
- Tokyo, Japan
- Activities › Golf
If you dream of sand traps and short puts, you’ll want to consider giving this 18-hole, 63-par course a go. Some ability to speak Japanese will be useful when making a reservation, though most hotel staff can easily help you past this obstacle. One thing to keep in mind is that spring and autumn tend to be when the weather is fine and the course is often booked out many weeks in advance. It’s the most conveniently located of all the public golf courses.

Rokuryu Kōsen
The bubbling amber water here contains minerals that the many old timers who come here in the afternoon claim can cure a number of ailments. These same folk tell stories about the occasional ancient leaf that’s worked its way up the pipes and into the tub. These leaves are in high demand and are reputed to be excellent for your skin. The bath is located down a small lane on the right; look for the traditional Japanese building with the blue curtains.

Sunrise Tours

Some are return trips from Tokyo, while others originate in other big Japanese cities.
