Getting there & away
From Nazareth Bus Station (656 9956; Paul IV St) there are hourly buses to Tiberias (No 431, 21.50NIS, 45 minutes), Haifa (No 331, 17NIS, 45 minutes) and Akko (No 343, 25NIS, one hour). To go direct to Tel Aviv (No 823, 36NIS, two hours), take the bus from the junction outside Nazareth or No 824 via Afula (15NIS, 2½ hours) from the bus station. There are no direct buses to Jerusalem so you must go from Afula (Nos 355/356, 7NIS, 20 minutes).
Sheruts to Tiberias leave regularly from in front of Hamishbir department store (on Paul VI St near El-Bishara St). For Haifa and Tel Aviv, they leave from the Paz petrol station (on Paul VI St).
