The 1½- to two-hour Original Haunted Walk of Reykjavík, which leaves from outside the main tourist office, is a new and extremely successful attraction. The walks are quite long, but the enthusiasm of Jónas the guide makes them very enjoyable. He manages to combine the ghost stories - gruesome, sad or just plain strange - with Viking history, environmentalism and visits to homes of the hidden people. The tour finishes, as all ghost walks should, in a twilight graveyard…
