Introducing Nueva Ocotepeque
In the southwest corner of Honduras, Nueva Ocotepeque is surprisingly mellow for having not one but two different international borders a short distance away. Buses to/from Agua Caliente (Guatemala) and El Poy (El Salvador) pass through frequently, and most travelers spend only the time that they need to transfer lines here. Hotels, restaurants and services are either on or near the main street, Calle Intermedio.
