Located in the heart of Shanghai, ideal learning environment

    ardphillips recommends this,

I studied at Mandarin house for a month with their total beginners course. The school is very professional and classes are kept small so that teachers are helpful and responsive. Class progression was quite fast and within just a couple of weeks I moved from having no Chinese at all to a level where I was able to survive in Shanghai, being able to food at restaurants and generally being able to express myself at a basic level. Classes consisted of grammar, listening and speaking and there was also the option of learning Chinese characters if you were able to commit enough time in the afternoon. Chinese is, of course, a very challenging language but I felt that the classes were structured so that stress levels were kept to a minimum.

The School is in a great location, it is situated close to People's square and just a few steps away from Nanjing Road, it is easily accessible from the Shanghai metro.

There are a number of schools offering similar programs in the centre of Shanghai but I would definitely recommend Mandarin House.
