I will travel to Bosnia in january for 5 days. I would like to go from sarajevo to Mostar by bus, do you know if is it possible ( or perhaps advisable if not mandatory) to buy the tickets in advance online?
I've found a website with all the timetable from the local company, butit doesn't seem to be very uptodate.
Another issue is that I will travel on the 6th ofa january, that is holiday. On the website "getbybus" there are no buses on public holidays, such as christmas day, boxing day, and the…
Could anyone recommend a decent accommodation for a single occupancy in a nice location( not isolated) in Mostar? Not looking for luxury, just a clean and comfortable place nicely located to explore the old town and go back maybe if neccessary late at night after dinner by myself without feeling scared. Thanks!
Is there a bus from Mostar which stops in one of the towns right on the coast in Croatia where I can take a ferry to Korcula on my get back from Mostar to Dubrovnik as I would like to spend at least a couple of days on nice sandy beaches in Korcula, Croatia. Thanks
Hi fellow travellers!
I am planning to visit Mostar during the first half of October. I am travelling by myself from and to Croatia and considering spending a couple of nights in Mostar. Apart from the town of Mostar itself is there anything else interesting enough to do or visit around Mostar? Is there any travel agencies in Mostar I can walk in once I am there which organises day trips to see the sorrounding area maybe for one of the 2 days I am planning to be there? Many thanks for your…
Next week my partner and I need to get from Sarajevo to Korcula. We want to stop off at Mostar along the way though.
I feel very overwhelmed by all of the different options!
What would be the best way to do this, by public transport?
We would like to go rafting in Scepan Polje (North Montenegro) and drive to Mostar afterwards. Which road should we take, and what kind of road is it (good condition, scenic or not?)?
Is it feasible to still drive after the rafting tour to Mostar, say leave around 4-5PM?
Trying to figure out if it works this way or whether we should stay another night in Scepan Polje and drive the next day.
Does anyone know if there is yet accommodation in these two villages? And is there anywhere to eat (even if only a food store)?
Thanks in advance
I asked this question some months ago. I go to Bosnia for the first two weeks of October. Does anyone have the latest information on getting a public bus from Sarajevo to the base of the Bjelasnica mountains? LP states there is only a bus in the ski season. However Bradt states that there is a public bus from Ilidza to sabici and close to Umoljani.
Any additional information would be gratefully received!
A few weeks back, my colleagues daughter (aged 20 something) jumped off the bridge - broke her wrist and fractured her spine in three places. She's now in rehab, wearing a back brace and learning how to walk again - could have been a lot worse.
So I suggest to you all that you don't even think about it.
