Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any operators offering (or if its even possible) - an Altun Ha day trip from Caye Caulker?

My sister and I are planning a trip to Belize the first week of September, and St. Georges Caye Day is the day before I fly back home. We are planning on being somewhere along the coast at the tail end of the trip, either Hopkins or Caye Caulker. From what I've read the big parades happen on St. Georges Caye and in Belize City, neither of which we'd planned to spend much time in (obviously we'll fly in and out of BC but that was going to be it). Here in the states, even tiny towns have…

Hi all,

I arrive into Belize international airport at 9.30am and want to head straight to Caye Caulker- what's the best way of doing this? By booking a connecting domestic flight? or heading for the boat?

Thanks!

Hello all,

I've read a lot of posts and you all sure do know what you are talking about! Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. My husband and I will be flying into Belize City and will arrive on a Saturday morning in February. We leave the following Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Initially, our plan was to head to San Ignacio on the day we arrive, get settled, do the ATM tour on Sunday, stay in SI on Sunday night, and head to Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker to relax, snorkel, drink, and…

I'm arriving solo to Belize June 25 in the morning, and plan to head straight on to San Ignacio two full days. I'm hoping to join the ATM tour on the next day, and another tour (ruins, tubing, etc) the next. So far, no luck in joining a group b/c it seems most require at least two people. With it being two weeks away, im hoping there are others interested in doing this tour the 26 or 27 of June.
Also, I haven't booked accommodations yet in San Ignacio...has anyone stayed at Martha's? It looks…

Hello.

I would like some input on a short itinerary. I have 2.5 days I'm trying to allocate before I have to join a wedding in a caye off of Placencia.

The three things I want to see/do - ATM/tubing tour; the flora/fauna in some aspect (forest hike?) and experience a bit of the local culture. I'm not sure if I'm trying to do too much. I can't extend my vacation after the wedding, so this is the only time I have.

Wednesday - arrive in BZE by 10am; head to San Ignacio or Placencia?
Thursday…

Hello,

We live in Panama and will visit Belize in November for 10 days. We would like to snorkel, experience a relax island stay in private cabins on the beach with a balcony and kitchenette. Then, we would like to spend 2-3 nights in the jungle or find a place in the mainland where we can combine beach, snorkel, fishing activities for 2-3 days and Jungle experience or ruins visit from the same place without having to change hotels every 3 nights. Also, we would like to avoid renting a car or…

We are planning to bring our extended family (at least 4 adults and 2 children; might be up to 6 more adults depending on who decides to come) to Belize for a medium-term stay of about 3 months. I'm not sure what to do about housing.

I know there are plenty of places big enough which can be rented by the day, but those are meant for vacation budgets and add up fast if you stay for long. I assume there are places which are less expensive, if you're going to live there for long enough to have a…

Hello all!
We're a group of 6 people travelling to Belize and we have doubts transportwise...
We are spending one night in Lamanai, then on the next day, visiting the ruins. Our ideal plan would be to travel from Lamanai to Cockscomb in the afternoon, so we could then visit the reserve during the day, and then travel to Belize city.

Is that feasable or impossible? Could we hire a driver or should we adapt to the buses and always go trough Belize city?
Thank you very much.
