Odesa hotels and hostels

Odesa is popular among Russians and Ukrainians, especially in July and August, but rarely are its hotels and hostels full and turning up without a booking is still feasible, even in high season. The city's hostel situation is in constant flux, with expats setting up shop, partying for a couple of seasons then moving on. It may be a good idea to check whether hostels are still operating before turning up at 4am unannounced.
