There are 13 NPS campgrounds and seven historic lodges in the park, which operate between mid-May and the end of September. Of the sites, only Fish Creek and St Mary can be reserved in advance (up to five months). Sites fill by midmorning, particularly in July and August. Glacier also has seven historic lodges dating from the early 1900s.
