Totem Inn
This clean, well-appointed motel has fridges and microwaves in each room. In the morning, tourists and locals flock here for the excellent breakfasts and Alaska-sized mugs of coffee.
Pipeline Inn
Rooms here are worn and aesthetically out-of-date, but some hold four or five people, making this a good big-group option.
Valdez Glacier Campground
Located 6 miles out of town, this spot has 101 pleasant wooded sites and a nice waterfall. Although it's privately owned, it has a noncommercial feel.
Eagle's Rest Rv Park
Also has cabins, showers and laundry, but the tent sites aren't quite as nice.
Lakehouse B&B
This ambling, sunny place has six rooms, all spacious and each with its own deck overlooking the pretty Robe Lake. If you've got your own wheels, this is a good option.
Bear Paw Rv Campground
Conveniently located right downtown; has showers and laundry - and a great little wooded glade just for tents!

Five rooms in a big, airy suburban home with two bicycles at your disposal.
Keystone Hotel
This modular relic of the pipeline boom years has lots of clean, cramped, prefab rooms.
Headhunters Inn
This B&B, upstairs from Ernesto's Taqueria, has cozy rooms with private baths.
Best Western Valdez Harbor Inn
If you can swing it, the corner suite overlooking the ocean has the best view of any bedroom in town.
