Aaah, Mo’orea. There’s no traffic (but plenty of roaring mosquitoes) and even the budget accommodation options have lovely garden settings. Most accommodation is concentrated on the eastern side of Cook’s Bay and around Hauru Point. Both these centres are very spread out; if you’re staying at one end and want to eat at the other, it’s not a case of just wandering a few steps along the road, although many restaurants will arrange to pick you up.
