Playa de Cerro Gordo Campground

North Coast

There’s space for 95 tents on this popular government-run beach campsite west of Dorado. Lifeguards are present daily, and the food kiosks sell the usual fried finger foods that you can eat at pine picnic tables. If you’re camping in the summer call ahead for a reservation and don’t expect privacy. Parking costs US$4.
