Upeponi
About 20km south of Pemba at Murrébuè is Upeponi with good seafood on a beautiful, quiet beach and basic accommodation. Follow the tarmac road out of town for about 10km, then go left on an unpaved road towards Mecúfi, branching left again near a small power station.
