Known as Rezayeh during the Pahlavi era, Orumiyeh (Urmia, Urumiyeh) is a logical stop en route to southeastern Turkey. It’s a large, deeply historic city but offers no must-see sights.

As I know it is about 155 km so it should be something about 2-2.5 hours on a public bus.

We took a direct bus, left around 9ish and arrived in Van around 6ish. The border didn't take too long but it was after that, on the Turkish…
