The rooms are small and worn, but have hot-water bathrooms, air con and cable TV –The hotel restaurant (mains L$80 to L$160, open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Saturday) has a nice patio out the back overlooking the water, and serves typical Ho.
The clifftop rooms offer tremendous views, cozy amenities and a level of privacy befitting even the sexiest of honeymoon couples.
Between West End and West Bay, the hilltop Villa Delfin offers tremendous ocean views, weekly rentals and special meals prepared by Chef Frank and his lady, Mikey.

The atmosphere is best described as ‘frenetic’ – dive instructors, guests and students all colliding in a beehive of movement. But the simple cabins are a decent value. The only problem: you’re not on the beach, and it can be far from relaxing.
This dive shop’s new owners previously ran a dive shop on Utila, so it’s no surprise that one of their first moves was to open a dorm exclusively for its students. It has just four beds, an in-room bathroom and a small deck with excellent views.
An excellent choice for large groups, the Blenny House (next to Cocolobo) has a big apartment with ocean views, a full kitchen and rosy hardwood floors that’ll sleep up to eight.
Hotel Brick Bay is a dark, lonely place, made even creepier for almost always having no clients. All in all, it’s hard to imagine the average traveler having much interest or reason to come here.
