Le Bataclan information
Le Bataclan, built in 1864 and Maurice Chevalier’s debut venue in 1910, is one of the city's most mythical concert, theatre and dance halls, drawing French and international rock and pop legends. At the time of research it was closed for building works following the shocking 2015 terrorist attacks, when gunmen burst into the venue during a concert, opening fire on the crowd and killing 89 people.
