Hospedería La Villa
Located just off the plaza, this is one of the cheapest places in town with clean, albeit sparse rooms.
Zona De Camping San Jorge
Located about 2km northeast of town, this huge grassy field has space for 120 tents with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Amenities include a small restaurant and shop, spotless bathrooms with hot water and a huge shared kitchen.
Dino's
Next to the parish church on the main plaza, Dino's has six neat rooms circling a small courtyard restaurant, or you can camp in the garden at the back and use the hotel facilities. Prices are negotiable.
Hospedería Colonial
Just a block off the plaza, Hospedería Colonial is another basic, but acceptable, option. It has 20 rooms, some of which have private bathrooms.
Hospedaje Sol De La Villa
Located on a quiet side street, this sunny hotel is painted in cheerful, bright colors. All rooms are clean and comfy and have TV and private bathroom with hot water.
Renacer Guesthouse
This delightful ‘boutique hostel’ is the creation of biologist and tour guide extraordinaire Oscar Gilède of Colombian Highlands.
Zona De Camping
This walled, grassy field has sites and a simple bathhouse, but not much else. Pitch your tent upon arrival and the caretaker will find you later; if the gate is locked, call for the key.
Hotel Plaza Mayor
The grand dame of Villa de Leyva. Its 31 rooms are all furnished to high standards and customer service is unsurpassed. The rooftop patio restaurant overlooks the main square and features traditional food and live music.
Posada San Martín
Hidden behind a high wall in a beautiful old home, this quiet and welcoming guesthouse has five rooms, all with private bathroom.
Posada De Los Ángeles
A pastel colored affair with modern bathrooms, tile floors and mosquito nets. The historic house overlooks Iglesia del Carmen and serves up a great breakfast.
Hotel Plazuela De San Agustín
This posh, boutique hotel appropriately calls itself a house-museum. The path leading into the colonial hotel is paved with fossils. Inside, the 20 rooms feature period furnishings and exposed wood beams, all overlooking lovely courtyards.
Hostería Del Molino La Mesopotamia
Built in 1568, this old flour mill is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in town. Unfortunately, its age is showing and we’ve received several complaints.
Hospedería La Roca
Located directly on the main square, the charming La Roca was recently renovated top-to-bottom. The 23 pleasant rooms surround a gorgeous, plant-filled courtyard. All rooms have high ceilings, TV and modern en-suite bathrooms with hot water.
