Lonely Planet review for Bodhi
Bodhi scores highly for its cool design and leafy position. Quick-fire waiters bounce off stainless-steel minimalism inside and slatted wooden tables and umbrellas outside. Swim at the pool next door before daily yum cha (10am to 4pm), a relaxed and value-for-money affair. The barbecue buns rule.

Awesome location
lightsabre recommends this,
The other day I brought a blind date to the Bodhi - bit of a risk as it's a vegetarian restaurant and she's not vegetarian! My gamble paid off though - she loved the food, and they've recently installed fairly lights on the trees which makes the place very romantic and the perfect setting for a date. Great new wine list of organic and "biodynamic" (whatever that is) wines, and slick service. I've already scored a second date so thanks Bodhi!
Good for: value for money, Great food and ambiance, a romantic date

Yummy Yum Cha
babyface6167 recommends this,
Went to bodhi on my travels last week and massively impressed. The setting is amazing - must be one of the only outdoor restaurants in the heart of the city where you can hardly see a road or a building! Food was also amazing and couldn't believe it was all veggie. I went there on a recommendation from a friend and my fiance is a big meat eater, but she loved it too. Service was impeccable - would definitely be passing on the recommendation. For the class of restaurant we didn't think it was bad value for money either.
Good for: service, outdoor dining, Quality and value
Not good for: going home hungry

Just like old times
remelila recommends this,
This all-vegan yum cha place nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes -- as a vegetarian, I'd never actually been able to have a proper yum cha meal before. Being able to grab any nice-sounding dish that passed our table was a luxury I haven't had in the years since I stopped eating meat. The food itself was delicious, and the leafy-green park setting was beautiful. Be careful not to let your eyes get bigger than your wallet, though, or you'll find yourself with a large bill at the end. (We did, but it was such a treat that we didn't really care.)
Good for: outdoor dining, vegetarians, vegans
Not good for: meat lovers

Soy fight
ms_mim recommends this,
It's hard being a Sydney-sider residing in Melbourne, especially one who still has a few friends left in Sin City and would like to keep them. It can't be helped but there are times when the old Melbourne vs. Sydney debate threatens to kill a friendly catch up over drinks and dinner when you're back in town. Sure, the view is lush but the food's too pricey, the service is crap and oh my lord look at those posers on the next table! This would NEVER happen in Melbourne.
Thankfully, brunch at Bodhi exists. A sea of calm in the great debate, a white flag that both sides can agree on. How can one fight while sipping fresh ginger and apple juice and nibbling on salt and pepper tofu under the shade of a Jacaranda tree? Bodhi offers vegan yum cha and even to my vegetarian ears that sounds horrible. Never fear, its wide range of dishes compete with the big players down in Chinatown and really what's a bit of soy protein between friends?
Good for: atmosphere, food, service

Veggie Yum-Cha
muddy99 recommends this,
One of the best veggie experiences in Sydney though it's not as cheap as it used to be. Outside under the trees in summer is relaxing, but it can be cold in winter. Close to both the Art Gallery of NSW and the Australian Musuem.
Good for: Romance, food, Groups
