Lonely Planet review for Bungalow 8
Retreat to the far end of King St Wharf if the mayhem of Darling Harbour starts to melt your mind. Slink into a low leather booth on the cool slate floor, watch the harbour lights and slurp a lemongrass laksa stacked high with fresh mussels (all-you-can-eat bivalves on Tuesdays). The Loft bar upstairs has cool cocktails.

Bungalow 8
njdaniel recommends this,
bungalow 8 is a funky pub that trys to be a resturant too.
Trying to get a table can be tricky as it's always busy mainly with the non-eating crowd. For a feed it a seafood lovers delight. For the those of us who don't eat seafood it very poor. not much choice and what there is is average to say the least.
I would recommend Bungalow 8 as a meeting point to enjoy a few pre dinner drinks and venture along King street Wharf to another of the many resturnats for dinner.Good for: Groups

Ignore the Sydney superficiality

Don't get put off by the doof doof music and fluro clad youngsters - the food here is actually good. Try the ribs. They're great! And a lot of the time, if you turn up on a week day, they give you a drink with your meal - and when you are in Australia, a house wine will almost always be drinkable. Oh yeah - they have great cocktails here as well.
