Buttermilk Falls

Turn right down a dirt road after the Walpack Center cemetery, then navigate a steep wooden stairway to the top of the spectacular Buttermilk Falls, one of the highest in New Jersey. If you can't make the climb (1.4 miles, with an 1100ft climb in elevation), it's nearly as impressive a sight from below.

There is a parking lot on Mountain Rd to access the falls.
