Platja de Talamanca

Ibiza Town

This sheltered sandy bay, 3km east of Ibiza Town, is the best beach within walking distance of the capital. Tourism development hasn't been too unkind to Talamanca, with hotels mostly on its northeast and southwest fringes. There's good family-friendly swimming, thanks to shallow waters, plus several excellent shoreside restaurants ranging from simple chiringuitos (beach bars) to glossy hotel eateries.
