Lonely Planet review for Julija

Julija serves up decent risottos and pastas either outside on the pavement terrace or in a Delft-tiled backroom behind a cafe decorated with 1920s prints.

    Romeo and ...

    beardedtraveller1983 recommends this,

... Julija (Juliet) has a tasteful Baroque-look interior with lots of gilded mirrors, distressed white furniture and some extraordinary blue and white tiles on the wall at the back, the fine international menu is packed with interesting food including octopus, pasta in many shapes and sizes and an impressive dessert menu. The wine list is also worth a mention, boasting a range of good value and painfully expensive bottles from home and abroad.

    Best value for lunch!

    fbass recommends this,

It's easy to find Julija Restaurant, it's just in front of Cafe Romeo! Yes, maybe they borrowed the name from the tragic romance story, but Julija indeed offer more. When you enter the restaurant, you'd be greeted with familiar feeling, the feeling like home. Ignore those 1920s prints on the wall, because the overall quality is not about decoration, but its ambiance, service hospitality, and the foods! Their €7.90 lunch menu includes options of soup, fresh salad, generous portion of main dish and dessert. Like their eclectic decoration, the food range from Slovenian typical dishes, such as Prekmurska gibanica, to Goulash, Chili con carne, different pastas, and fish every Friday.
